Canyon’s premium natural teak hardwood curated by Arhaus is untreated and unfinished; its organic color tones are honed by finely sanding into a smoothed surface.
Natural teak highlights organic variations in color and graining. These characteristics may differ between pieces.
Natural teak may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features, adding character to your piece without affecting its quality or performance.
Over time, natural teak’s warm, golden color eventually fades to a silvery-grey patina. Weathering will begin immediately when left uncovered and in daylight.
Pieces in our Weathered Fawn finish are hand-applied using a wire brush to subtly distress the wood followed by staining the pigment onto the surface.
For Weathered Fawn pieces, small imperfections may expose underlying teak wood. If left uncovered, finishes will gradually fade and acquire a beautiful silvery-grey patina (typical of untreated teak wood), adding unique character to your piece.
Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
Crafted to withstand the elements, Canyon’s cushions have been engineered for maximum water drainage and air circulation.
Canyon’s cushions are crafted from an open-cell, quick-dry foam wrapped in high-quality poly fibers made from recycled post-consumer plastics.
Seat and back cushions feature a mesh bottom panel to allow water drainage and a zipper to easily remove the casing if needed.
InsideOut Performance Fabrics® are made from durable polyester and polypropylene fibers, which are bleach-cleanable, fade-resistant, anti-mildew, and eco-friendly.
Fade- and mildew-resistant furniture covers are crafted from Agora® Compact Special Piedra composed of 100% solution-dyed acrylic and feature mesh ventilation and a water-repellent finish.
